Gingerbread

I only tried this recipe once. It turned out nice, but it wasn’t interesting enough for me to try it again.

  1. Heat oven to 350ºF/180ºC.
  2. Prepare a loaf pan with grease or parchment sling.
  3. Pour milk/water into a bowl, along with the molasses and honey.
  4. Drop in the butter in chucks. Microwave until butter is mostly melted.
  5. Put the flour in a mixing bowl with the salt, baking powder, and spices. Whisk to combine and fluff up the flour.
  6. Add the sugar to the wet ingredients along with the egg and stir. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and whisk until smooth.
  7. Pour mixture into the loaf pan and bake for 1 hour.
