This is one of the earliest recipes that I learned. It is meant to mimic the flavor of Knorr Sidekicks pasta mix.
It tastes amazing, and is very rich and filling. I don’t make it much anymore since it isn’t particularly nutritious.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup powdered milk (4 tablespoons)
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 3-4 diced garlic cloves
- 1-2 diced onions
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups cold water
- seashell pasta, or preferred variety
Instructions
- Add dry ingredients, garlic, onion, butter, and water to a medium-sized saucepan.
- Stir in pasta until saucepan is full, ensuring that all noodles are fully submerged.
- Simmer on medium heat until pasta is tender. Stir frequently.
- Optionally, serve with grated Parmesan.
