A short story written many years ago by the creator of How Stuff Works. I’ve been thinking about it lately and decided to re-read it. The writing isn’t great, but the story seems increasingly prescient.

A well-written article explaining the design of the NT kernel.

• Project Hammer

A project to crowdsource Canadian grocery price data. This interests me as a Canadian, as well a habitual penny-pitcher. I have definitely noticed the significant inflation of food prices, and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes of this project. I may even participate myself.
